Here's my final review of the Sage Tee from Elbe Textiles. I started with a size E and tried to follow a systematic workflow for making changes. The workflow was inspired by J Stern's efficient bodice workflow series. If you want to read more about my fitting steps, check out my blog posts "Fitting Workflow for the Sage Tee Parts 1 - 4."

I’ve been making good progress on my health and fitness recovery after my pulmonary embolisms/DVT in February. I’ve found that three activewear sets aren’t enough now that I’m constantly moving and exercising. Here are two more sets to add to my collection 🙌🎉🥳 The fabric is sports Lycra from Spoonflower. One print is Space Neon Blue by Reinekke, and the other is Atlas of Mountains by Foolsgoldworkshop.

I got to enjoy the ME2041 as shorts today. The weather has been perfect here. I’m also wearing my new Elbe sage tee. I’ll be posting part 2 of my fitting process this weekend. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to hang out in our hammocks. The rain eventually showed up, so we headed home.

👕✂️ Fitting Workflow for the Sage Tee - Part 1: Shoulders ✂️👕

Lost track of time listening to the frogs 🐸 the excitement and novelty of hiking with a hammock is still going strong.

I needed to make new aprons, and when I heard about laminated fabric from Splash Fabrics, I knew that’s what I wanted to try. I made a size XL from porcupine patterns cross back apron since that’s the pattern I’ve used for years now. If you need a free pattern that’s more size inclusive, I recommend Hey June Allspice apron. The fabric is lovely and soft. I didn’t find it hard to work with at all. They even sent the recommended needle along with my purchase!! Love that small touch.

Summer fashion trend!!! Matching compression socks with my new shorts. These are my new Pomona shorts made with the meet milk stretch tencel twill in punch color. I’ve had some uncomfortable edema in my right leg over the last few weeks, so I decided to up my compression sock game with these colorful ones. I’m trying to avoid the really uncomfortable and problematic symptoms of post-thrombotic syndrome. I even got matching mustard yellow socks to match my mustard yellow shorts. This is peak fashion for me 😂

Last month I made Ryan two pairs of Elbe Textile Trigg shorts. He’s worn the same pattern for years now, no alterations needed. I tried Meet MILK Stretch Woven Tencel Lyocell Twill last year and it’s held up beautifully so that’s what I used again this year. Ryan picked this color, Aqua, and Purple Night, a beautiful deep purple for his second pair.
